About the Role

We are looking for a Executive Accounts with 2-5 years of relevant experience

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • General Ledger Management:

- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accuracy in all entries.

- Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring proper classification and documentation.

- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and adjustments.

- Prepare and post project-based cost and revenue accruals and deferments.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records. Prepare and present reports to management (e.g., daily, weekly, monthly).

  • Accounts Payable and Receivable:

- Manage accounts payable functions, including creating PO, invoice processing, payment approvals, and vendor relations.

- Oversee accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and collections.

- Reconcile accounts receivable and payable balances on a regular basis.

- Verify and record bank deposits and collections. Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.

  • Financial Reporting:

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances, providing actionable insights to management.

- Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements.

- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.

  • Tax Compliance:

- Prepare and file tax returns in a timely manner.

- Accurately prepare TDS data for filing. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and deadlines

- Maintaining GST records and documents Preparation of GST return data related to GSTR-1, GSTR-3B

- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax audits.

- Stay informed of changes in tax laws and regulations that may impact the organization.

  • Internal Controls and Compliance:

- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

- Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.

- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

  • Team Collaboration:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and enhance financial processes.

  • Process Improvement:

- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the accounting department.

- Implement best practices and contribute to the development of accounting policies.
