Job Description: 3-5 years programming/database experience Experience with SQL Extensive experience in ETQ Reliance quality management system software Regulatory knowledge and experience in: United States: Food and Drug Administration (FDA); 21 CFR 820, 21 CFR 11 ISO 13485 & ISO 14971 This is a key position supporting the e QMS for Owens & Minor employees worldwide while reporting to the IT organization. The incumbent will have responsibility for Et Q system configuration, system requests, performing solutions relating to the modules they support, and supporting the entirety of the system when necessary. Occasional escalation of technical issues to Et Q will also be necessary. System requests can be quite technical – this position requires the technical aptitude listed below in order to succeed. The skills necessary for this position are: Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate appropriately between business users and technical team Independent, self-motivated worker Programming experience with an object-oriented language, preferably Python Manage projects under your control to completion Willingness to contribute solutions to complex issues to the entire development team. Sample Activities the Incumbent will work on. Triaging and completing ETQ configuration system requests. Working with the business to gather requirements that you will then use to update a current ETQ module or build a new one from scratch The investigation and resolution of issues and improvement within the Quality System Suggest ideas to the business and technical team for standardizing support, informed by resolving issues Working with other IT teams to move data extracted from other systems into ETQ Willingness to learn and implement ETQ Script (based on Python) Perform activities related to our Et Q System Request and Project Request processes Monitor due dates on requests and provide updates to users as needed Serving as the lead and overseeing the development of Et Q project deliverables Act as a key client liaison, including building SME relationships Open tickets with Et Q and implement solutions in a controlled, validated environment Identifies improvement opportunities and manages them to implementation If you feel this opportunity could be the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply.
