Role details:
- Title / Designation: Data Engineer - Snowflake
- Reporting Manager: Associate Director & CES
- Location: Mumbai / Bangalore / Hyderabad
- Work Mode: Hybrid
Role & responsibilities:
- Solve complex data driven problems using the state-of-the-art AI/ML models
- Conceptualizing and executing clear, quality code to develop the best software.
- Demonstrate expertise in Snowflake data modeling and ELT using Snowflake SQL.
- Implement complex stored procedures and best practices with data warehouse and ETL concepts.
- Deploy fully operational data warehouse solutions into production on Snowflake.
- Test the codes, identify errors, and iterate to ensure quality code.
- Support our customers and partners by troubleshooting any of their software issues.
- SQL expertise: Have detailed expertise in SQL databases and many programming languages
- Have a strong understanding of data modeling and database design
- Implement ETL pipelines inside and outside data warehouses, and schedule, monitor, and ensure they run without issues
- Business intelligence: Transform raw data into meaningful insights through the creation of dashboards and reports
- Analytical and problem-solving skills: Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and be a fast learner
- Data quality issues: Be able to troubleshoot data quality issues
- ETL process knowledge: Have knowledge of the extract, transform, load (ETL) process
Candidate requirements:
- 3 - 7 years of experience implementing data management solutions
- Strong experience in Snowflake, AWS, and SQL.
- Experience in complex data transformation in DBT.
- Experienced with Snowflake DWH/ELT implementation, and Python/Java Scripts.
- Hands-on work on most common transformations like lookup, fuzzy, conditional splits, etc., checkpointing, logging, etc.
- Experience with data validation, data cleansing, and data reconciliation process.
