The Job in Short
Join Backbase’s R&D team as a frontend engineer in the Wealth value stream, where you’ll focus on building cutting-edge digital investing products. The Wealth team creates user-centric solutions like trading, robo-advisory, and wealth management tools. With Backbase Digital Investing, banks can quickly build, automate, and scale digital products for a seamless banking experience.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll work on developing new features, improving existing functionalities, and driving technical innovations within our Digital Investing Platform. You’ll be part of an agile team responsible for the entire software development lifecycle, collaborating with architects, QA engineers, and other team members to implement solutions that align with Backbase's technical vision and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement high-quality frontend solutions to enhance digital investing products.
- Engage in the full development cycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring top performance and a smooth user experience.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with Backbase’s overarching technical strategy and deliver solutions that meet quality and performance standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 7+ years in frontend development, especially with complex products.
- Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge in Angular and Typescript, familiarity with Nx, RxJS, Node, npm, and expertise in Gulp, Grunt, and Webpack.
- Additional Skills: Experience in fintech, banking, or product development, with a strong grasp of non-functional requirements like scalability and security.
- Collaboration: Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering team alignment.
