To accommodate our growth, we are looking for a talented Mid-Level Drupal Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to our exciting new project.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Mid-Level Drupal Developer with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Drupal development. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Drupal architecture, module development, theming, experience in integrating third-party APIs, and implementing responsive designs. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Nipro’s Drupal websites, ensuring high performance and availability, and maintaining technical SEO hygiene within the Drupal CMS.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with external agency to design, develop, and maintain Nipro’s Drupal-based websites.
- Architect and implement custom Drupal modules and themes.
- Perform site-building tasks including content type creation, views, and configuration management.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement responsive designs.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services.
- Optimize website performance and ensure scalability, speed, and security.
- Oversee version control and deployment, manage codebase changes, branching strategies, and ensure smooth deployment processes across environments.
- Implement backup strategies and disaster recovery plans, and develop and implement strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand website requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Maintain and implement technical SEO best practices for website crawlability, indexation, and structure.
- Enhance security, ensure Drupal core and contributed modules are up-to-date with security patches, and maintain website security standards.
- Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, from planning to deployment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and Drupal advancements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and in Computer Science, IT or a related field preferred.
- At least 3-5 years of relevant expertise.
- Drupal certification (e.g., Acquia Certified Drupal Developer) a plus.
- Proven experience as a Drupal Developer with a strong portfolio of Drupal-based projects.
- Experience with Drupal 8/9/10.
- Solid understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
- Experience with modern UX/UI design principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with responsive and mobile design techniques.
- Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for website tracking and optimization.
- Knowledge of technical SEO principles and best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when required.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
