Contract Role
Job Brief:
We are seeking a skilled AWS Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background
in building, managing, and optimizing large-scale data pipelines and data lakes on AWS. This role requires hands- on experience with AWS cloud services, data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and a deep understanding of big
data technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using AWS services (Glue, Lambda, S3, Redshift, etc.).
Implement and optimize ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion and transformation.
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data quality and accessibility.
Build and manage data storage solutions such as data lakes and data warehouses.
Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and infrastructure for performance and reliability.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proficiency in AWS services like EC2, S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, and RDS.
Strong experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
Experience with SQL, Python, and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
Familiarity with cloud-based architecture and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Cloud Formation).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
