Key Responsibilities:
- Manual Testing:
- Develop, document, and execute detailed test cases and test plans for web and mobile applications.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and system testing to ensure the software meets business and technical requirements.
- Identify, report, and track defects using defect tracking tools, ensuring issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Automation Testing:
- Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, or Test NG.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing and rapid feedback.
- Analyze test results, identify areas for improvement, and optimize automated testing strategies.
- Ensure the automation framework is scalable and reusable across multiple projects.
- Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Testing:
- Test AEM components, templates, and workflows to ensure seamless content management and delivery.
- Validate the functionality, performance, and security of AEM-based applications.
- Work closely with AEM developers and content authors to identify and resolve issues in the AEM environment.
- Collaboration:
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers, to ensure high-quality software releases.
- Provide input on quality metrics and contribute to continuous process improvements.
- Documentation:
- Document test cases, test results, and defect reports in a clear and concise manner.
- Maintain up-to-date records of testing activities and ensure proper documentation of testing processes.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of testing guidelines and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in software testing, including both manual and automation testing.
- Strong knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, Test NG).
- Experience with manual testing of web and mobile applications.
- Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and experience testing AEM-based applications is a plus.
- Proficiency in using test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Test Rail).
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Git Lab.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for database testing.
- Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or REST-assured.
- Familiarity with performance testing and tools like JMeter.
