Engineer XMD The Developer XMD focuses on operating and enhancing the Bremen specific XMD software solution. Develop basic features or modules of the solution (frontend and backend), conduct testing and debugging based on given test cases, and support go-live. Take-over of working software, monitor its health, availability and performance; regular duty in XMD on-call group. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in software support and development Strong written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English Proficient in working with Windows operating systems Programming Languages and Frameworks: ~ Expertise in C# .NET, including .NET Framework 4.NET 8 Web Technologies: ~ knowledge of Angular is a plus Understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles; basic experience with unit testing; understanding asynchronous programming, specifically async/await Databases: ~ Good SQL skills Experienced use of Visual Studio Experience with GIT Experience with Azure DevOps Experience of agile development process Analysis & Optimization: ~ First experience with performance optimization and debugging tools Knowledge in building and running software solutions Mindset of error and problem analysis and solving
