Position: Manga AI Development Intern

Location: 100% Remote

Responsibilities

  • AI-Assisted Manga Story Development: Collaborate with the creative team to develop engaging manga stories using AI image generation and design tools.
  • Content Creation: Assist in generating manga layouts, character designs, and visual elements through AI platforms.
  • Storyboarding: Help create detailed storyboards that align with mental health themes and cultural relevance.
  • Research and Inspiration: Conduct research on popular manga and anime trends to inform story and design choices.
  • Quality Assurance: Review and refine AI-generated content to ensure it meets Yokaizen’s standards for creativity and cultural authenticity.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with writers, designers, and AI specialists to integrate AI tools seamlessly into the manga creation process.

Qualifications

  • Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Illustration, Computer Science, AI, or a related field.
  • Skills:
  • AI Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with AI image generation tools (e.g., MidJourney, DALL-E) and design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Manga and Anime Knowledge: Strong understanding of manga and anime styles, storytelling techniques, and cultural nuances.
  • Design Skills: Basic design skills with an eye for layout, composition, and visual aesthetics.
  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to learn and adapt to new AI tools and technologies quickly.
  • Creativity: Innovative thinker with the ability to generate original ideas and solutions.
