Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome customers as they enter the showroom, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Direct customers to the correct department, notify the appropriate person that a customer is waiting, and introduce the customer to a salesperson.
Answer incoming phone calls, directing callers to the appropriate department or individual, or take thorough messages.
Communicate with callers and visitors in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner.
Enter data into the prospect tracking system and run prospect reports for managers on a weekly basis.
Communicate messages to the appropriate clients in a timely manner.
Type memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents.
Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment.
Respond to customer inquiries and complaints, providing prompt and effective solutions.
Assist in organizing and hosting events, such as product launches and sales promotions.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred.
Thirteen years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in retail or furniture sales.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service focus.
The ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
A positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
A flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
A knowledge and understanding of furniture design and style trends is preferred.
Skills Required: Excellent communication skills.
