Shopify Backend Developer Opportunity

A challenging and dynamic role has emerged for a highly skilled Shopify backend developer to join our team. As a seasoned professional in e-commerce platform development, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the backend infrastructure of Shopify stores.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop seamless connections with Shopify APIs to enhance store functionality
  • Implement robust and scalable code adhering to industry standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project milestones and deliverables
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any backend-related issues ensuring maximum uptime and performance
  • Continuously research and implement new technologies, frameworks, and best practices to improve the store's backend infrastructure

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on Shopify and ecommerce platforms
  • Expertise in Shopify themes development customization and Liquid programming
  • Strong knowledge of serverside languages such as Ruby on Rails, Python or Nodejs
  • Indepth knowledge of Shopify's Liquid template language API and app ecosystem
  • Proficient in database management with experience using PostgreSQL or other relational databases
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
