Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

About the Role:

  • We are seeking an experienced technical support specialist to join our team.
  • You will be responsible for resolving incidents and service requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resolve incidents and service requests raised by users in line with our service level agreements.
  • Take ownership of assigned incidents, problems and service requests to ensure resolution within agreed timeframes.
  • Maintain and manage Problem tickets in line with the Problem Management process.
  • Develop and maintain deep functional knowledge of bespoke trading applications.
  • Provide training to new and existing users to enhance their understanding and adoption of the system.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience working with and documenting bespoke business applications.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to investigate and determine root causes of recurring application issues.
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceDesk Plus, ServiceNow or Zendesk.
  • Logical thinker with ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • A relevant degree in Information Systems, computing studies, IT or other related fields.
