Job Overview

The Assistant Manager Sales role at Dover Corporation involves driving sales growth in the automotive components market. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, targeting the auto industry with expertise in selling to Truck Fabricators, Truck Spares Dealers, and Truck OEMs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets in the automotive components market.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales initiatives.
  • Analyze sales data to optimize sales performance and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Manage sales operations, including sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering – Mechanical / Production Engineer will be preferred.
  • Total experience: 6 - 8 years, Relevant experience: 4 years.
  • Expertise in selling Automotive components to Auto Dealers / OEM's, setting up an automotive dealer channel, Value seller.
  • Must be well versed with all facets of sales management targeting the auto industry with specialty in selling to the Truck Fabricators, Truck Spares Dealers, Truck OEM's.
  • Should be prepared for extensive domestic travel domestic & international travel (if the need arises), whenever required.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is ₹15 lakhs to ₹20 lakhs per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including medical insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
