Senior Cyber Security Specialist

This role involves developing secure software in a controlled environment, focusing on creating functions that prevent security breaches and ensure system integrity. We are seeking an ideal candidate with a strong understanding and implementation of cybersecurity principles, including encryption, key management, and firewall rules.
The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with embedded devices or related fields. A solid understanding of cryptographic principles, including key management, firewall configurations, and software integrity, is essential for this position.
We require the ability to produce timely, logical, and concise work products, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities- Establish, evaluate, and continuously improve cybersecurity standards to ensure robust protection and compliance with industry best practices.
- Design, implement, and maintain effective security solutions to safeguard systems against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Document, organize, and analyze security-related information to gain valuable insights into security operations and enhance overall security posture.
- Develop, document, and institutionalize comprehensive best practice software guidelines, practices, and procedures for cyber security, ensuring consistency and reliability across the organization.
- Collaborate directly with internal teams and suppliers to guide, support, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity guidelines, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve security objectives.
- Demonstrated strong programming skills in C and C++, with the ability to write efficient and reliable code.
- In-depth familiarity with POSIX standards, specifically in Linux or QNX environments, ensuring seamless integration and compatibility.
- Extensive hands-on experience with hardware, particularly Qualcomm BSP or similar platforms, enabling effective hardware-software interaction.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, including cryptography, key management, firewall configurations, and software integrity, to protect sensitive data and systems.
- Comprehensive experience in software development, covering various stages of the software lifecycle, from initial design to deployment and maintenance.
