About the Role

Fueling Brains Academy is an early learning center with a strong presence across Canada and the USA, offering 10 campuses for children aged 0-6 years. We are currently seeking a skilled Recruiter to support our on-site Academies in both countries.

Job Description

This role involves working closely with our HR team to identify hiring needs and fill job openings by sourcing candidates through various databases and social media platforms, conducting interviews, and managing paperwork. The successful candidate will also be responsible for onboarding new employees.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Hiring Process: Identify current and future hiring needs, develop job descriptions and specifications, collaborate with department managers, and compile a consistent list of requirements.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Attract suitable candidates through online employment forums, social media, and our company's talent pool.
  • Interviews and Qualifications: Conduct interviews via phone or in-person, qualify or reject candidates based on interview feedback and resume reviews, and serve as a contact person for questions from applicants.
  • New Hire Onboarding: Complete paperwork for new hires, onboard new employees, and help them transition into their new roles comfortably.
  • Legislative Compliance: Keep up-to-date on current employment legislation and regulations, enforcing them within the company, and provide recruitment updates to department managers.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management.
  • Strong recruitment background in the field of Early childhood education within public and private schools.
  • 5-7 years of experience with recruitment processes and databases.
  • The ability to design and implement recruiting strategies.
  • Experience with Rippling ATS is mandatory.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Great interpersonal skills.
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of LinkedIn Hiring and Boolean Search.
  • A working knowledge of employment laws and legislation.
  • This is a full-time work-from-home role with flexible timings for both USA and Canada. Candidates must be open to night shifts.
  • A high-speed internet connection (25mbps) and dedicated office space are required.
  • Experience working with Google Office suite is essential.
  • High energy and passion are necessary for success in this role.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and excellent stakeholder management skills are crucial.
