Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Global Market Expansion Strategist to join our team at SPERTON - Where Great People Meet. This role will focus on developing and executing strategies for market entry, identifying key growth opportunities, and managing complex client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Research & Strategy Development:
    • Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities in international markets for transmission towers, monopoles, and related structures.
    • Develop and execute strategies for market entry, focusing on expanding global presence and identifying key growth opportunities.
    • Analyze industry trends, competitors, and customer needs to devise actionable business plans.
  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
    • Target and engage with decision-makers in utilities, government agencies, and contractors across international markets.
    • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiations and closing.
    • Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring repeat business and satisfaction.
  • Tendering & Proposal Development:
    • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, tendering) to craft winning proposals tailored to client needs.
    • Lead the preparation and submission of bids and tenders, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
    • Negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Work with engineering, procurement, and project management to ensure smooth project execution.
    • Offer feedback to product teams to maintain competitive and relevant offerings in the market.
  • Networking & Industry Engagement:
    • Represent the company at key industry events and develop strong networks with stakeholders, including suppliers and government officials.
    • Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and technological advancements.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
    • Track and report business development activities, ensuring alignment with revenue goals.
    • Provide insights and regular updates to senior management on market conditions and strategic growth.
