Job Description:

The Cloud Infrastructure Specialist role involves heavy hands-on work on public cloud platforms, leveraging PaaS services and marketplace offerings to configure, implement, monitor, and troubleshoot platform components such as networking, VMs, API management services, Application Gateways, Load Balancers, Kubernetes clusters, and more.

This key position will require developing code that bridges the gap between application and infrastructure using tools like Terraform and testing the system for effective and smooth operation.

The ideal candidate will develop and run diagnostics tests to verify the correct design of the platform, often involving writing code for diagnostics so automatic testing takes place.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor networks, systems, and applications to ensure performance and orchestrate automation of resources.
  • Build, manage, and integrate software to automate and secure public cloud environments.
  • Develop scalable solutions that can support large capacity and scale reliably in a 24/7 environment.
  • Provide hands-on development/support to implement solutions and troubleshoot platform-related incidents and problems.
  • Collaborate with security teams to support monitoring capabilities.
  • Drive delivery of scalable and secure network resources with deep technical knowledge.
  • Participate in design/architecture discussions and provide feedback to improve services and quality.
  • Work with architecture, security, infrastructure services, and application development teams to choose technology solutions and facilitate integration into cloud environments.
  • Stay up-to-date on public and private cloud topics, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
  • Provide training, assistance, and guidance to team members as needed.
