Job Title: Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure solutions using Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable Azure cloud infrastructure solutions.

• Collaborate with architects and development teams to translate application requirements into cloud infrastructure designs.

• Implement best practices for Azure resource management, security, and cost optimization.

• Automate infrastructure deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.

• Configure Azure services including Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Load Balancers, Azure Active Directory, Storage Accounts, and more.

• Implement and manage Azure Identity and Access Management (IAM), ensuring compliance with security policies.

• Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and troubleshoot issues using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and other monitoring tools.

• Maintain and manage backups, disaster recovery plans, and failover mechanisms.

• Apply patches and updates to cloud infrastructure as needed to maintain security and performance.

• Implement and maintain security controls, policies, and procedures in line with industry best practices and compliance requirements.

• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.

• Manage network security, including Azure Firewall, Network Security Groups (NSGs), and Azure Security Center.

• Automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python.

• Optimize cloud resources for performance and cost, and recommend improvements as needed.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Azure cloud infrastructure engineering.

• Proficiency in using Azure services such as Azure VMs, Azure Virtual Networks, Azure Storage, Azure Active Directory, Azure DevOps, and more.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.

• Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles.

• Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or Git.

Location: Kolkata.
