Job Title: Senior Corporate Credit Risk Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior Corporate Credit Risk Manager at IndusInd Bank. This role will be responsible for managing risk for wholesale credit, reporting to the Head-Risk.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective credit risk management policies to ensure alignment with industry best practices.
  • Promote quality analytical architecture aligned with credit risk management policy.
  • Build, maintain, and report economic capital models for corporate credit exposure.
  • Establish risk mitigation strategies and controls to address concentration risk, tenor risk, industry/sectoral risk, unrated/unsecured risk, sensitive and stress sectors.
  • Satisfy regulatory requirements and auditors on risk modeling, assessment, and monitoring.
  • Develop and implement ECL framework for adequate loan loss provisioning.
  • Provide input to credit approving committees on risk from portfolio and policy perspectives.
  • Analyze and report on credit risk metrics and trends.
  • Present risk outcomes to credit risk management committee and risk management committee of the Board.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes affecting credit risk.
  • Develop and fine-tune credit risk stress testing frameworks.
  • Assess credit risk frameworks based on SPARC data submissions.
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Insights into robust PD, LGD, and EAD models, allocating capital based on these risk factors.
  • Understanding of statistical concepts for analyzing credit risk data and developing economic capital models.
  • Sound knowledge of credit risk appraisal.
  • Ability to build and lead a team of corporate credit risk specialists.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related fields.
  • Minimum 18+ years of experience in banking/financial institutions, with at least 5 years in corporate credit risk models and analytics.
  • Professional certifications such as FRM, PRM, or Graduate in Statistics from reputable institutions.

Salary: ₹25,00,000 - ₹35,00,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
