Academic Career Opportunity in Computer Science

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual with a PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field to contribute to the department's mission through teaching, research, and service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in computer science, including core and specialized topics such as Algorithms, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, and Software Engineering.
  • Develop and maintain a productive research agenda with publications in peer-reviewed conferences and journals.
  • Seek external funding to support research and student involvement.
  • Advise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students in academics and research.
  • Participate in departmental, college, and university service and committee work.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members and industry partners on interdisciplinary projects.
  • Stay current with developments in the field and integrate them into teaching and research.

Qualifications Required:

  • PhD in Computer Science or a closely related discipline completed by the time of appointment.
  • Masters in Computer Science (M.Tech in CSE) preferred.
  • Demonstrated potential or record of excellence in teaching and research.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postdoctoral experience or relevant industry experience.
  • A record of scholarly publications and research funding.
  • Experience teaching or developing curriculum at the university level.
  • Ability to teach in high-demand areas such as AI, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, or Quantum Computing.
