Job Title: Technical Product Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Product Manager to lead our product development efforts in the telecom domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Java, ReactJS, Angular, MERN Stack, MEAN Stack, and web/mobile application development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the development team to drive feature development in alignment with sprint planning.
  • Ensure that the features developed are user-friendly and meet the needs of the end users.
  • Review existing product features using both qualitative and quantitative measures.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement or optimization to enhance user experience.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product development and support go-to-market activities.
  • Research relevant industry trends and features, developing recommendation pitches and proof-of-concepts for the product roadmap.
  • Develop user guides, tutorials, and other documentation to support product releases.
  • Create detailed user stories for new features and enhancements.
  • Work with the user experience team to create detailed feature specifications.
  • Iterate through prototypes and validate the product with internal and external customers.
  • Utilize strong knowledge of telecom systems and technologies to address industry-specific challenges and integrate telecom features into products.
  • Ensure that the product complies with telecom standards and protocols for optimal performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related engineering field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience, including 6-7 years with a strong technical foundation.
  • Direct experience in conferencing, collaboration, or communication space, with a deep understanding of telecom systems and technologies.
  • Proficient in web/mobile app development, with experience in Java, AngularJS, MEAN Stack, MERN Stack, web technologies, and mobile apps (Android/iOS).
  • Ability to effectively manage a development team.
  • Experience working in Agile teams and a deep understanding of the responsibilities of a Product Owner in Scrum methodology.
  • Prior experience as a Software Engineer (or similar) using .NET, Java, web services, with desirable knowledge in AngularJS/NodeJS, RDBMS, NoSQL databases.
  • Experience in deployment and testing processes.
Nice-to-Haves:
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with various functional groups, including architects, developers, business owners, and senior business leaders.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to understand and contextually analyze requirements to arrive at optimal solutions.
  • Experience with agile software development practices used to build and deploy web and mobile applications.
  • Excellent oral and written English communication, documentation, and prototyping skills.
  • Product management experience with enterprise-level products.
  • Experience in the technical architecture of web/mobile applications.
  • Experience in designing user interfaces, product design, and management.
  • Experience creating examples through wireframes and mock-ups.
