About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and results-oriented Business Intelligence Analyst to contribute to the growth and success of Skipper Limited. In this critical role, you will play a key part in leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making across the organization.

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to develop data-driven insights, design and execute experiments, and recommend solutions to optimize business performance. Your work will have a direct impact on the company's ability to make informed decisions and stay ahead of the competition.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Analysis & Insights

    • Develop and execute data analysis plans to extract valuable insights from large datasets. Identify trends, patterns, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform business strategies. Create compelling data visualizations and communicate complex findings to stakeholders at all levels. Deepen understanding of customer behavior and market dynamics through data analysis.
  2. Metrics & Experimentation

    • Design and implement A/B testing and other experiments to measure the impact of new initiatives and processes. Partner with cross-functional teams to define and track key business metrics. Analyze experimental results and recommend course corrections based on data-driven insights. Continuously develop and improve methodologies for data collection, analysis, and reporting. Ensure data hygiene and implement best practices for data governance.
  3. Problem-Solving & Recommendations

    • Translate business problems into actionable data analysis questions. Utilize data analysis to understand complex business challenges and propose data-driven solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize business needs, KPIs, and reporting requirements. Recommend new metrics, techniques, and strategies to improve operational efficiency and financial performance.
  4. Communication & Collaboration

    • Effectively communicate data-driven insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences. Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, operations) to ensure alignment and data-driven decision-making. Possess strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate complex data findings.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in SQL and data querying languages. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Familiarity with statistical analysis methods and hypothesis testing. Strong analytical skills and a passion for working with data. Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence concepts (a plus). Programming experience with Python or R (a plus).

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering) or a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on data analytics (preferred). Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related field. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
