Job Description

AppUnik is seeking a highly skilled Node.js Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable and efficient server-side applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Application Development: Develop, maintain, and optimize Node.js server-side applications.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Performance and Scalability: Ensure performance and scalability of applications.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and debug applications.
  • Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Requirements Gathering: Work closely with product managers and designers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Stay Updated: Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Node.js development.
  • JavaScript Proficiency: Strong understanding of JavaScript, including ES6+ and Node.js frameworks such as Express.
  • Database Knowledge: Experience with databases like MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • API Development: Proficient in building RESTful APIs and integrating third-party APIs.
  • Version Control: Experience with version control systems, especially Git.
  • Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
  • Front-end Technologies: Experience with front-end technologies like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.
  • DevOps Practices: Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
