Job Summary

We are seeking a visionary leader to drive the development of early-career technologists and foster innovation across our global healthcare R&D ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Early Career Technologists Program Leadership: Lead the Graduate/Post Graduate/PhD Engineers Training Program, delivering a structured onboarding and development experience for campus and lateral hires. Collaborate with enabling functions to ensure seamless onboarding and integration of early career technologists. Design learning journeys focused on healthcare technology and regulatory understanding for career advancement.
  • Strategic Collaboration & Opportunity Mapping: Partner with global R&D, Technology, and Business Unit leaders to identify talent needs and innovation opportunities. Align hiring based on associate competencies across Hardware, Software, and Information Technology domains. Identify unmet clinical and operational needs and channel them into innovation projects led by early-career technologists.
  • Innovation & Research Enablement: Support research proposal drafting and submission in collaboration with internal teams and external institutions. Apply innovation tools to mature ideas into viable healthcare solutions. Facilitate fresh talent integration into BD's innovation pipeline.
  • University Relations & External Engagement: Build strategic relationships with top-tier universities and institutes. Drive campus engagement, project scoping, and intern conversion strategies aligned with innovation goals. Represent at academic forums, career fairs, and innovation summits.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's/master's degree in engineering, Healthcare Technology, or related field. A PhD in Engineering is highly preferred. The candidate should have 10+ years of experience in healthcare R&D, technology leadership, or early career talent development. Proven experience in leading innovation initiatives is essential.
