Job Overview:

A seasoned Technical Project/Program Manager is required to spearhead and deliver digital transformation programs.

This role assumes overall delivery responsibility for the project, ensuring seamless collaboration with technical stakeholders from GL and client-side teams.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with architects, designers, tech leads, UI/UX designers, Product owners/BA etc. to ensure optimal solutions aligned with business requirements.
  • Participate in technical discussions and position technical trade-offs to client stakeholders.
  • Present/explain technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Work with project stakeholders to define project plan, KRAs, and processes.
  • Communicate project status and structure across the Project Management team and necessary departments.
  • Ensure projects remain on target to meet deadlines.
  • Define potential problems and suggest alternatives based on cost implications, time constraints, and customer quality standards.
  • Manage day-to-day progress of projects, including risk assessment and problem resolution.
  • Conduct project reviews according to prescribed process/structure.
  • Serve as subject matter expert regarding workflow, processes, capacity, timelines, etc.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to develop/adapt processes, policies, and workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, speed, quality, etc.
  • Lead teams to their optimum performance levels by providing direction, resources, and guidance.

Required Skills:

  • Expertise in managing full project management life cycle for implementing complex IT and business initiatives.
  • Deep experience in understanding functional scope, design, and technology to ensure right solution delivery.
  • Proven ability to engage with highly technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Understanding/experience executing projects in multiple areas like Supply Chain, eCommerce, IoT/Embedded, Digital Twins, Cloud Infrastructure, Industrial Operations Management.
  • Understanding of allied areas like DevOps, Test Strategies, Test Automation, Security standards.
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management, & planning skills.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated team player with results orientation.
  • Ability to work under tight project deadlines.
