Job Overview

Assystem is seeking a highly skilled BIM Engineer to join our team. As a BIM Engineer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality Revit families, modifying existing families as needed, and ensuring that all design and engineering activities are executed to the highest standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Revit, BIM360, and system design, with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in these areas. Proficiency in Revit Structure, Revit Architecture, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Solid Edge is also required. Additionally, the candidate should have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team, and take ownership of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce Revit families according to project requirements
  • Modify Revit families as per project requirements
  • Plan, organize, execute, monitor, and control design and engineering activities
  • Develop scripts in Dynamo for design and productivity requirements
  • Prepare 3D designs using Revit
  • Work on BIM 360 and maintain BIM standards and library of BIM objects
  • Convert IFC files from AutoCAD and import them into Revit
  • Create NWC, NWD, PDF/DWG from Revit model
  • Prepare flow diagrams, system layouts using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Understand technical tender documents and prepare technical compliance sheets
  • Prepare clash reports using Revit/Navisworks and resolve clashes with team, customers, and subcontractors
  • Responsible for project-related documentations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Architecture discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Revit, BIM360, and system design
  • Proficient in Revit Structure, Revit Architecture, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Solid Edge
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Ability to understand technical drawings and plans
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
