Job Title: Technology Risk Governance Manager

At HCLTech, we are seeking a highly skilled Technology Risk Governance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Technology Risk division, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of technology-related risks to our organization.

Job Summary:

The Technology Risk Governance Manager will be responsible for providing oversight and challenge to technology risk and making a significant impact through the following ways:

  • Providing subject matter expertise in cybersecurity, IT security tools, concepts, and architecture.
  • Understanding new technologies, IT security tools, cloud infrastructure, vulnerabilities, and the current threat landscape.
  • Building and maintaining working relationships with multiple business units, information technology teams, and engaging with various levels of senior management.
  • Ensuring that technology risks to the organization's information posed by cyber threats are documented, tracked, and minimized.
Key Responsibilities:

The Technology Risk Governance Manager will be responsible for:

  • Providing regular updates to management on the review, assessment, and publication of a dashboard to senior management.
  • Continuously assessing and reviewing technical architecture and providing input to minimize risk.
  • Continuously evaluating and assessing current and future security needs and making recommendations and business case requests.
  • Partnering with Global Information Technology, Global Information Security, Risk & Compliance, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Supporting the development of programs and training for team members.
  • Assessing threat advisories and technology available in the market.
  • Developing and recommending policies as required.
  • Leading and coordinating actions related to cybersecurity frameworks, processes, tools, governance, and assessments.
  • Contributing to improving the Technology Risk Governance framework and its implementation.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Desirable - 7+ years of work experience related to cybersecurity tools implementation, configuration, and administration.
  • Experience in developing cybersecurity operation frameworks, their implementation, and regular monitoring through continuous metrics reporting.
  • IT and application architecture review from a cybersecurity standpoint.
  • Cybersecurity implementation on cloud service provider environments, with a strong understanding of one of the three main CSPs (Azure, AWS, and GCP).
  • 1 year of experience in application architecture, DevSecOps, DAST, SAST, secure coding, and overall cloud security.
  • Knowledge of information security and cybersecurity standards and guidelines, such as ISMS (ISO 27001-2013), NIST 800-53, CIS, and IT general controls.
Preferred Qualifications:

A strong understanding of network security risks, exploits, and vulnerabilities, as well as proficiency in all infrastructure layers, hardware, OS, virtualization, storage, network, database, and security.

Experience with offensive security, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, red team assessment, threat advisories, and threat intelligence and hunting.

Hands-on experience and knowledge of security solutions, including antivirus, host-based intrusion prevention, EDR, XDR, vulnerability scanners, security information and event management solutions, security orchestration, automation, and response solutions, patch management solutions, data leakage solutions, intrusion prevention systems, firewalls, web content filters, web application firewalls, cloud native application protection platforms, cloud security posture management, cloud access security brokers, and secure access service edges.

Travel eligibility is required, with a willingness to travel to/from India to other global geographical regions.

A degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other IT-related disciplines is required, with professional qualifications such as CISSP, CRISC, or CEH being desirable.
