Sales Representative

Job Summary:
As a Sales Representative - Area Manager for Maui Jim, you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding our customer base in the designated region. Your primary goal will be to achieve operational and sales objectives by recommending strategic plans and reviews, preparing and completing action plans, and ensuring high customer-service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and increase the sales of Maui Jim sunglasses to accounts in select geographic regions.
- Promote Maui Jim sunglasses in a specific geographic area, calling on accounts to carry out the Company's marketing plans and policies.
- Provide accounts with products knowledge and technical assistance.
- Offer training, advice, and support to accounts to ensure they provide the right information, knowledge, and service levels to end customers.
- Collect and offer feedback on the market and competitors.
- Develop direct relationships with retail stores in your territory to ensure they sell Maui Jim according to brand equity and increase shelf space.
- Plan marketing activities according to the company's marketing agenda and guidelines.
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers in person, via telephone calls, and email.
- Project a professional image to all classes of accounts while presenting company services and policies.
- Maintain and establish necessary territory records and information required by management.
- Collect and supply information to management to provide better service and penetration into the market.
- Inform management of developments that may affect the territory's economy or potential growth.
- Represent the company at professional meetings or industry functions.
- Complete sales and expense reports on a timely basis.
- Develop full partnerships and understanding of each account's requirements to access opportunities and success.
Requirements:
- University degree in a business field with a minimum of 2-3 years of successful field sales experience. Experience in the sunglass or optical industry is preferred.
- High school graduate with 1-2 years of college and a minimum of 3-4 years of field sales experience. Experience in the sunglass or optical industry is preferred.

Language Requirement: Malayalam, English, and Hindi are required; southern Indian languages are preferred.
