Job Overview:

We're seeking a seasoned Senior Python/Node.js Developer to work on both our backend services and APIs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Python and Node.js, with experience in developing scalable and high-performance applications. You'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining backend systems, ensuring seamless integration with frontend and third-party services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python and Node.js.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Design and implement data models and databases to support application requirements.
  • Write efficient, reusable, and maintainable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications to improve performance and reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continually improve our development processes.
  • Ensure that applications are secure and compliant with industry standards and regulations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience with Python and Node.js, with a strong portfolio of relevant projects.
  • Proficiency in web frameworks and libraries, such as Django, Flask, Express.js, or similar.
  • Experience with database management systems, including SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis).
  • Familiarity with RESTful API design and integration.
  • Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this role is around $120,000-$180,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
