Job Title: Asst. Manager – Climate Action Certification

At TÜV SÜD, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager – Climate Action Certification. This role will be responsible for supporting the regular operation management of our Climate Action Certification business line and Green Energy and Sustainability Business Unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and gather key strategies in line with the Business Unit and target for the entire group.
  • Support monthly review calls by preparing key data reports and help in reviewing and following up on action points as agreed in meetings within the Business Unit and with extended groups of people.
  • Support in working on lighthouse and strategic project management, reporting, and costing (review and setting of rationale, process, support in handling experts).
  • Support in preparing presentations for various management meetings by analyzing, streamlining, and accumulating suitable data and information from all functions across the organization.
  • Support in developing the global Business Unit service portfolio for global launch.
  • Provide back-office support in maintaining relationships related to conglomerate decarbonization and green services, including carbon management, energy transition (renewable and new energy such as hydrogen or ammonia), waste, and water management.
  • Work closely with experts and managers from regions as well as client-facing teams to develop short to long-term strategies to increase market presence and new service launch.
  • Support in global partnerships, M&A, and JV in the decarbonization area.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science/engineering, natural science, or a related field. An additional degree in business administration and master's degrees will be considered a plus.
  • Experience in working in climate action, renewable, environment impact assessment, and related areas.
  • 5 years of experience with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in working in sustainability areas.
  • Knowledge of climate change and new energy-related regulations and markets across the globe.
  • Proven ability to make presentations and high-level strategic papers.
  • Experience in working with multi-disciplined diverse teams in a project environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to draft technical project reports and presentations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
