Category Lead for Business Growth

We are a leading B2B E-commerce platform under a large Indian conglomerate, offering a comprehensive range of Hot Rolled (HR), Cold Rolled (CR), and Hot Rolled Pickled and Oiled (HRPO) products.
Job DescriptionThe Category Lead for Business Growth will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive growth and increase sales across our product range. This includes overseeing the day-to-day operations of the category, managing budgets, and ensuring alignment with company objectives.
A key focus area for this role will be enhancing supply chain visibility to improve inventory management and optimize the movement of products from suppliers to customers. You will also oversee licensee agreements and ensure compliance with business operations and inventory terms, driving operational efficiency and alignment with company objectives.
In addition, you will be responsible for monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory turnover, sales performance, and operational efficiency. This will involve identifying areas for improvement and implementing initiatives to enhance performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
To succeed in this role, you will need 8+ years of experience in category management or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience specifically in the industry. In-depth industry knowledge, including market dynamics, customer needs, and supply chain management is essential.
