Role Overview

We unite the brightest minds to turn today's risks into tomorrow's opportunities. As a Software Quality Assurance Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement automation test scripts using Java, Selenium, and Cypress to ensure seamless user experiences.
  • Design, execute, and maintain automated tests for web applications, REST APIs, and other software components to guarantee high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements, acceptance criteria, and test plans to drive successful projects.
  • Perform manual testing when necessary, including regression testing, smoke testing, and exploratory testing to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution and minimize downtime.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint retrospectives to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior QA team members, promoting best practices and continuous improvement to enhance overall quality.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software testing and quality assurance to stay ahead of the curve.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Proven experience in automation testing using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and Cypress.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and experience in testing RESTful services.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodology and experience working in Agile teams.
  • Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
