Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
  • Hands-on Experience: Practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Coding Skills: Proficient in coding in one or more languages, such as .NET development, specifically in C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
  • Database Experience: Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages in SQL Server or other relational databases.
  • Software Development Life Cycle: Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle with a strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
  • Agile Methodologies: Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
  • Software Applications: Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.).
  • Front-end Technologies: Strong experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React or Angular).
  • APIs and Web Services: Familiarity with RESTful APIs, web services, and integrating with third-party services.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Problem-solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • DevOps Practices: Experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and automated testing.
  • Microservices Architecture: Familiarity with microservices architecture.
  • Construction or Field Service Management: Previous experience in construction or field service management software.
  • Cloud Platforms: Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
