Business Development Specialist

About the Company:
We're a leading home decor start-up, dedicated to delivering top-notch products that make plant parenting a breeze. Our self-watering plants with planters have been an instant hit, and we're committed to shaking up the industry with new and exciting solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Gather, analyze, and interpret data related to customer behavior, sales performance, and market trends using tools like Excel, SQL, and BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Business Performance Monitoring: Track and monitor KPIs (such as conversion rates, customer lifetime value, CAC, retention rates) and provide actionable insights to improve business performance.
- Market Research: Analyze competitors and industry trends to guide product positioning, pricing strategies, and identify potential new market opportunities.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with teams across marketing, product development, and operations to ensure the seamless execution of strategies that enhance customer experience and business growth.
- Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in operational processes and provide recommendations for improvement to increase profitability and streamline workflows.
- Forecasting & Budgeting: Assist in developing forecasts and financial models to project sales, customer acquisition costs, and overall business growth.
- Customer Feedback: Collaborate with the customer service and product teams to understand pain points and help shape product development strategies based on feedback.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Marketing, or related field. MBA is a plus.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a D2C, eCommerce, or retail environment.
