Job Title:

Academic Case Writer and Researcher

Description:

The incumbent will collaborate with faculty members to develop, research, and publish high-quality business case studies for academic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough market, industry, and organizational research to gather data needed for case study development.
  • Work closely with faculty to clarify objectives, learning outcomes, and case formats.
  • Create comprehensive case studies including background context, decision points, alternative courses of action, supporting data, and teaching notes.
  • Verify factual accuracy through verification and citations; maintain academic integrity.
  • Revise drafts based on feedback from faculty and stakeholders; ensure clarity, relevance, engagement.
  • Support the process of preparing cases for external publishing or inclusion in outlets.
  • Meet project timelines and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.

Qualifications:

  • A master's degree in Business / Management / Communications, or a related field; PhD preferred.
  • Proven publication record: at least 10 completed and published case studies or similar works.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills in English; ability to compose narratives that are analytically strong, engaging, and pedagogically sound.
  • Strong research skills, including interviewing, data gathering, qualitative and quantitative analysis.
  • Familiarity with business case formats and experience in academic settings or business school pedagogies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with faculty and stakeholders.
  • Good time management skills and ability to deliver under deadlines.
