Role Overview
The successful candidate will lead the development of annual operating plans, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and drive innovation-led approaches to win in the market. As the Head of Product & Category Growth, you will be responsible for owning the entire beauty portfolio mix, leading product development, market entry, market share growth, channel mix, and NPS for each category. You will also oversee P&L management, new customer acquisition, and retention strategies to meet market share and revenue growth KPIs.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop an annual operating plan for the business and work closely with channel, brand, and creative teams to deliver on it
- Lead portfolio mix planning to meet brand growth goals and ambitions
- Oversee P&L management for every category, focusing on optimizing gross margins and marketing costs
- Manage the innovation funnel and end-to-end product development in collaboration with R&D
- Drive all aspects of each category: product, identity, architecture, positioning, price, and channel mix
- Initiate and drive category, competition, consumer, and customer/shopper research to derive actionable insights
- Build trial and customer retention strategies for each category
- Collaborate with brand and creative teams to build effective communication for each category

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Math, Economics, or Medicine, along with an MBA from a premier institute
- 10-13 years of experience in growth/sales/business roles, preferably in B2C industries and consumer product-led brands
- Strong analytical skills, data-driven decision-making, and clear fundamentals in reading and implementing research insights on category development and shopper behavior
- Excellent framework-led thinking and problem-solving abilities with a creative bent of mind
- Ability to sustain and enhance the organization's collaborative culture and demonstrate a consumer-first approach

Reporting Structure
This role will report to the leadership team, overseeing a team of Category Managers, Marketing Associates, Market Research & Insights Team, and other supporting functions.
