As a Visual Communications Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in crafting visually captivating designs and implementing innovative ideas across various digital and print mediums. You'll translate client needs and branding strategies into design strategies, selecting appropriate colors, fonts, photographs, layouts, logos, and other design elements to communicate creative concepts effectively.

The responsibilities of a Visual Communications Specialist include:

  • Conceptualizing and designing branding materials, such as brochures, flyers, illustrations, layouts, infographics, on-screen presentations, proposals, and social media collaterals.
  • Adhering to client brand guidelines, meeting and exceeding defined expectations in terms of aesthetics, quality, turnaround time, and efficiency.
  • Familiarity with the latest design trends and advocating the same to team members and customers.
  • Providing unique and innovative design solutions to customers and convincing them to make the right design choices.
  • Communicating effectively with customers while understanding design briefs and sharing ideas.
  • Mentoring junior team members on best design practices.
  • Prioritizing deadlines and effectively managing multiple creative projects parallelly.

A Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Graphic Design or a related discipline is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Document Cloud (Interactive Media) is essential. You should have a strong portfolio showcasing creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work across a range of mediums. Three years of experience in graphic design is required, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 per year, based on industry standards and market conditions.
