Redis Systems Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Redis Systems Engineer to join our Data Movement team.

  • Install, configure and maintain high-performance Redis clusters in development, testing and production environments.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve complex Redis-related issues to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Design and implement scalable and secure Redis deployments.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience installing, configuring, maintaining and providing production support for Redis instances (both standalone and clustered setups).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and Support:
    • Install, configure and maintain Redis clusters.
    • Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve Redis-related issues.
    • Design and implement high-availability and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Security Management:
    • Implement and manage security measures to protect IT infrastructure from cyber threats.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with other IT professionals to ensure seamless integration and operation of IT systems.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and deploying Redis in such environments.
  • Troubleshooting experience.
  • Database experience.
  • Strong Linux system administration skills.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure.
