Visionary Optometrist

At EssilorLuxottica, we're pushing the boundaries of vision care. We're looking for a seasoned Optometrist to join our team as an Innovation Catalyst, driving sustainable growth in India through cutting-edge Outreach content development training programs (Base of Pyramid) within our inclusive business 2.5 NVG.

This exciting role reports directly to the Head of BoP Innovation and Head of Sustainable Programming, India. As an integral member of our global initiatives, you'll collaborate closely with internal teams, external stakeholders, and bridge between R&D and Mission on innovation-related matters.

Key responsibilities include:

• Spearheading on-ground activities across Sustainable Programming and OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation
• Providing technical support for the creation and testing of ophthalmic tools and products
• Standardizing training curriculum and optimizing training processes across all countries
• Fostering country growth through innovative activities
• Bridging between R&D and Mission on innovation-related matters and between Leonardo and Mission on training curriculum

Your success will be measured by metrics such as outreach numbers, adoption rates, and the number of people benefiting from our initiatives.

This role demands expertise in handling multiple stakeholders, adapting to local infrastructure challenges, and leveraging technology to enhance rural optical entrepreneurs' and vision screening clinics' efficiency.

Requirements include a degree or master's in Optometry, at least 5-10 years of experience in Optometry and Retail, with a preference for those with training and curriculum development experience. Experience in emerging markets, Base of Pyramid, and/or development sector (NGO) is a bonus. Proficiency in English and multilingual skills are also preferred.
