Cybersecurity Expert Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cybersecurity technologies and practices, with a strong focus on security operations, scripting, cloud environments, and secure networking.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Implement, monitor, and manage SIEM and SOAR solutions for threat detection and response.
  2. Perform log analysis, incident response, and vulnerability management across enterprise environments.
  3. Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Bash to enhance security operations.
  4. Manage and secure systems in Linux and Red Hat environments with version control (GitLab, GitHub).
  5. Support security configurations and monitoring for cloud platforms (MS Azure).
  6. Apply strong knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals (firewalls, proxies, IDS/IPS, endpoint security).
  7. Ensure secure networking practices (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, DHCP) and risk management strategies.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security compliance and governance.
  9. Contribute to DevSecOps initiatives, including container security, GDPR, HIPAA, and web security.
  10. Support audits, documentation, and reporting for compliance and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity.
  • Strong knowledge of Python programming and Bash scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM, SOAR, and other security products.
  • Proficiency with Linux/Red Hat systems, GitLab, GitHub, and MS Azure.
  • In-depth understanding of networking protocols, vulnerabilities, and risk management.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices (container security, HIPAA, GDPR, web security) is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience in large organizations and team environments.

Education & Certifications (Preferred):

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, Azure Security, or CISSP (added advantage).
