Quality Assurance Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of products and processes at Cummins Inc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead containment activities and ensure product quality meets initial and long-term standards.
  • Develop and implement processes to prevent quality issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements.
  • Support quality audits and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Provide quality technical support to other teams.

Requirements

  • Graduate Engineer with 8-12 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, or Program Management roles in the automotive industry.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related manufacturing or quality experience required.

  • Advanced Product Quality Planning: Leads technical quality planning and ensures customer satisfaction through structured and measurable processes as defined by industry standards.
  • Measurement Science: Analyzes measurement processes throughout the relevant traceability chain to identify and quantify sources of measurement uncertainty relevant to the appropriate applied measurement science, Metrology.
  • Problem Solving: Solves problems and may mentor others on effective problem solving by using a systematic analysis process leveraging industry-standard methodologies to create problem traceability and protect the customer.
  • Drives Vision and Purpose: Painting a compelling picture of the vision and strategy that motivates others to action.
  • Project Management: Establishes and maintains the balance of scope, schedule, and resources for a temporary effort (a project).
  • Quality Process Management: Proficient application of quality tools and methods to ensure quality of products, processes, and services.
  • Quality Systems Management: Utilizes quality tools and processes to ensure the quality management system is understood, implemented, maintained, and demonstrates its ability to consistently and effectively provide products/services that meet requirements.
