About this role:

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Wells Fargo Bank.

This role involves providing quality control support, performing quality reviews, and ensuring control procedures are followed.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ months of Quality Assurance experience and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing quality control support
  • Performing quality reviews and ensuring control procedures are followed
  • Identifying, researching, resolving, and reporting discrepancies related to claims, procedural issues, and quality data transmissions
  • Documenting quality issues and performance measures for management review
  • Providing support to business line staff in reporting and business documentation
  • Evaluating the quality and accuracy of work being reviewed
  • Working closely with internal and external customers to meet their service needs
  • Acting as a subject matter expert and providing information and assistance in feedback and education to staff

Requirements:

  • 6+ months of Quality Assurance experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong Mortgage domain (Retail) knowledge
  • Keen eye for details and good observation skills
  • Good problem-solving and basic analytical skills

Job Expectations:

  • Working independently with minimal supervision
  • Processing multiple critical work items
  • Flexibility for night shift
  • Reporting problems with procedures and recommending improvements to onshore LOB supervisor and/or management
  • Recommending operational improvements and suggesting best practices
  • Partnering with onshore BLCs/LOBs
  • Directly responsible for providing support and guidance to team members by communicating business changes, procedures, updates, and reiterations
  • Demonstrating a high degree of integrity and honesty
  • Adapting to changes, taking ownership, and showing accountability
  • Showing enthusiasm towards taking up additional tasks
