Job Summary

This role is focused on leading project reporting efforts to fulfill contractual obligations, with a strong emphasis on stakeholder relationships and data analysis. You will work closely with the Project Controls Manager and interface with EPC Contractors, customer, and project team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership in the administration of Project Controls activities, including input for weekly project action items lists, maintaining databases, preparing monthly/weekly progress reports, and look-ahead reports.
  • Coordinate with EPC Contractors to obtain data in the required form, format, content, and level of detail to meet contractual obligations.
  • Implement project reporting requirements in accordance with established Bechtel and client contractual requirements, objectives, and procedures.
  • Work with supervisors and management team members to support PC and projects operations.
  • Coordinate routine cost engineering/planning and scheduling needs to projects.
  • Obtain required schedule information from all disciplines/functions.
  • Identify schedule considerations and problems resulting from inter-discipline or functional restraints and interfaces.
  • Monitor and report critical path and schedule performance of the total project.
  • Collect and analyze alternatives for schedule improvement for discussion and/or decision by the project team.
  • Assist in the development and review of schedule recovery plans, including evaluation of additional resources/costs required to affect such plans.
  • Coordinate cost recording, monitoring, & reporting practices for compliance with applicable standards.
  • Develop and maintain accurate cost reports.
  • Verify consistency with previous reports to ensure compatibility and consistency.
  • Collaborate with senior managers in managing PERM performance requirements, metrics, and reporting standards, including suggestions related to risk breakdown structures, risk libraries, & risk identification tools & frameworks in support of project needs.
  • Participate in project risk reviews.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience working as PMC or consultant on EPC projects of similar nature OR working with PMC in the role of EPC contractor in large EPC projects is preferred.
  • Proficiency with PC operating systems and multiple software applications, including Microsoft Office Applications.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per yearBenefits:
