Key Engineering Store Officer Position

About the Role:

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely inventory management of engineering stores.
  • They will maintain a high level of material quality through rigorous inspection processes, guaranteeing that all items meet the required standards.
  • A key aspect of this role is processing GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes) and updating material issues in the SAP system, ensuring seamless integration with our inventory management processes.
  • This position involves implementing effective critical spares management and scrap generation practices, minimizing waste and optimizing resource allocation.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for purchasing requisitions at optimal times to minimize delays, thereby ensuring business continuity and productivity.
  • Additionally, they will manage and control engineering stores inventory levels, striking a balance between stock levels and demand requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • The candidate should have proficiency in SAP and MS Office applications, as well as strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • They must be able to work effectively with contractors and sub-contractors, fostering collaborative relationships and driving project success.
  • A flexible approach to routine scheduling is essential, allowing the candidate to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • The ideal candidate will possess analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling them to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
