Designation: Sr. Software Developer – Java

The Opportunity

This is the position where you have the opportunity to architect payment solutions that have a transformative impact. Our team contributes to various technologies, including Web Application, Restful API Engine, Payment Gateway, Mobile Application, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Work with other developers to design, code, test, and document distributed software applications.
  • Participate in an agile environment and practice iterative and incremental changes.
  • Lead the translation of product requirements into reliable, scalable, and maintainable software systems.
  • Develop your skills as a technical mentor through peer code reviews and collaborative software practices.
  • Coordinate with production operations teams to help with ad-hoc troubleshooting and client support.
  • Contribute to software quality by writing unit tests and working with QA on the automated test suite.

Requirements

We look for big thinkers who can drive positive change, step up, and show what's next. In practice, this means:

  • You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a Software Development related field.
  • 7+ years working in Software Development related field.
  • You've got substantial knowledge of SQL and can manage a database (SQL Server).
  • You master object-oriented languages with experience in Java.
  • You've got basic knowledge of frontend languages and frameworks with experience in JavaScript/Angular.
  • You have experience with unit and functional test frameworks and can verify the correctness of code you write.
  • You thrive in a highly collaborative environment and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ready to work in a 2nd shift India time (2pm to 11pm shift) to enable 3 hours overlap with US colleagues.
  • Flexible to adopt new technologies like mobile app development.
