The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the daily plan vs actuals, closure of work orders, ensuring 5S, rework analysis, inventory management, and daily WIP status. They will also be responsible for report preparation and DRM, as well as gap analysis and mitigation plans for losses.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring Daily Plan vs Actuals: Ensure that the actual production levels match the planned levels.
  • Closure of Work Orders: Close work orders in a timely manner to ensure smooth production.
  • 5S Implementation: Implement and sustain 5S practices to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Rework Analysis: Analyze rework to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal production.
  • Daily WIP Status: Monitor and report daily WIP status to ensure smooth production.

Key skills required include:

  • People Management: Manage a team of production engineers to ensure smooth production.
  • Lean Concepts: Implement lean principles to improve production efficiency.
  • WIP Management: Manage WIP levels to ensure optimal production.
  • System Driven Approach: Implement a system-driven approach to improve production efficiency.
  • Kaizens: Implement Kaizens to identify and eliminate waste.
  • KANBAN: Implement KANBAN to improve production efficiency.

Key competencies required include:

  • Good 5S Management: Demonstrate good 5S management skills.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Possess strong communication skills to effectively communicate with the team.
  • SMT Knowledge: Possess knowledge of Surface Mount Technology (SMT).
  • Soldering Techniques: Possess soldering techniques skills.
  • Problem Solving Skills: Possess problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Automobile Engineering: Possess a bachelor's degree in one of these fields.
  • 5-7 Years of Experience: Possess 5-7 years of experience in production management.
  • Strong Production Management Skills: Possess strong production management skills to manage multiple products.
