Genomics Account Manager III

As a key member of our sales team, the Genomics Account Manager III will be responsible for driving revenue growth for our assigned product portfolio within the genomics group. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing direct sales to meet business objectives and customer satisfaction within the designated territory.
  • Achieving strong customer satisfaction with brand equity.
  • Working closely with the sales manager, application team, and distributors to nurture, mature, and close opportunities.
  • Responsible for technical discussions with customers, including one-on-one meetings, seminars, and pre-sales demonstrations, to convince them to buy assigned products/technologies.
  • Maintaining relationships with existing users to develop them as positive reference sites and drive related consumable sales.

Requirements include:

  • M.Sc/M.Tech or PhD in Biotech/Biochemistry/Genetics/Allied life sciences.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience with proven trade records.
  • Excellent technical and practical knowledge of genomics technologies used in life sciences.
  • Good hands-on experience with life-sciences instruments like RT-PCR, NGS, Microarray, etc.
  • Experience in handling customers from diverse segments like academia, bio-pharma, clinical oncology, translational research, etc.
  • Ability to screen and identify potential customers for selling new products, with experience in successfully commercializing new launches.
