Job SummaryThe successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving business development, building relationships, and identifying opportunities to enhance our presence in the market.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Relationship Building:
- Identify and establish relationships with potential partners, clients, and institutions in the education financing space.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing stakeholders to foster loyalty and long-term engagement.
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, business opportunities, and competitor activities.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to inform business strategies.
- Lead Generation:
- Develop and implement effective strategies to generate leads, expand market reach, and increase revenue.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to showcase our offerings and services.
- Schedule Management:
- Manage and coordinate calendars, appointments, and meetings for the business development team.
- Ensure timely and efficient client and partner interactions.
- Communication and Documentation:
- Act as the primary point of contact for business inquiries, handling calls, emails, and other communications.
- Prepare and edit proposals, presentations, contracts, and reports for business development purposes.
- Data Analysis and Organization:
- Collect and analyze data to support decision-making processes in business development initiatives.
- Maintain a repository of market insights, leads, and partner details for easy reference.
- Meeting Coordination:
- Record, transcribe, and distribute meeting minutes with clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Ensure follow-ups on action items and deliverables discussed during meetings.
- Record Maintenance:
- Accurately record and maintain leads, contacts, agreements, and communications in our CRM system.
- Ensure all documents and records comply with company policies and are easily retrievable.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align strategies and ensure seamless execution.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to meet client and partner needs effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development or a similar role, preferably in the education financing or financial services sector.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market trends and data.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
$80,000 - $110,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
