Job Title: Senior Tax Advisory Associate

Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned tax advisory professional to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have expertise in direct tax and experience working with multinational corporations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for structuring and advising on deals from a tax perspective, including foreign exchange control, FEMA, domestic tax law, DTAAs, stamp duty, and other allied laws.

In addition, the candidate will draft and review deal documents, handhold clients in conceptualizing deals, and provide strategic advice on India entry/exit strategies, favorable holding jurisdictions, tax efficiency, and commercial rationale.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • CA/LLB degree with 0-3 years of experience in direct tax advisory
  • Strong knowledge of FEMA, domestic tax law, DTAAs, and other relevant regulations
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
