Job Overview:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing and approving marine proposals received from various sales channels, driving premium growth and renewal retention for the marine line of business, implementing and monitoring underwriting guidelines, maintaining turnaround times and referral management, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders for the marine portfolio, gathering and sharing market intelligence on marine insurance, and possessing good analytical skills. Additionally, the candidate should have a minimum of two years of experience in the industry in marine underwriting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and approval of marine proposals
- Premium growth and renewal retention
- Implementation and monitoring of underwriting guidelines
- Maintain turnaround times and referral management
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Gather and share market intelligence on marine insurance
- Good analytical skills
